Scholarships & Financial Assistance

Orfeo Music Festival offers a limited number of merit scholarships and need-informed financial awards to accepted participants.

Scholarship consideration must be requested at the time of application. Applicants requesting financial assistance must state the amount requested and briefly explain the circumstances supporting their request. Requests cannot be added after an application has been submitted.

Applicants seeking scholarship consideration are encouraged to apply by the December 1 Early Bird Application Deadline.

Scholarship awards are limited and subject to available funding.

What Tuition Includes

Tuition includes, as applicable to the participant’s program, private lessons, masterclasses, chamber music coaching when offered, performance classes, opera scenes when offered, piano accompaniment, practice-room access, lectures and seminars when offered, choir when offered, admission to Festival concerts, use of Festival facilities, Certificate of Course Completion, Festival T-shirt, and group excursion.

Shared Room & Board includes shared accommodation, breakfast, and weekday dinners.

Guest with Room & Board

The registered Guest rate includes shared accommodation, breakfast and weekday dinners, admission to Festival concerts, and access to designated Festival activities as an observer.

Registered guests may enroll separately in Optional Courses.

Guest Festival Pass — No Room & Board

Includes admission to all Festival concerts, access to masterclasses and lectures as an observer, and participation in Festival social events when space allows.

Registered guests may enroll separately in Optional Courses.

Guest Participation

Guest rates apply to registered auditors and to registered guests of students who have been accepted to participate in the Orfeo Music Festival.

Visitors who are not registered guests may not participate in Festival meals or other activities designated for Festival participants.
