Born in Samara, Russia, Anna Gliadkovskaya began to study music from age 5. She attended the Specialized Music School for Gifted Children in Kiev and the Gnessin Russian Music Academy in Moscow where she studied with renowned musicians Olga  Sherstyuk and Alexander Alexandrov. Anna has received numerous scholarships, awards and honors throughout her studies in Kiev and Moscow, including a highly prestigious scholarship from Russia’s Ministry of Culture. Because of her exceptional talent, she was invited to participate in the joint American-Russian music production "Peace Child" in 1988, made possible by the Cultural Exchange Treaty signed by Gorbachev and Reagan.

        Anna Gliadkovskaya is a recepient of numerous prizes at national and international piano competitions from the age of seven, when she took the First prize in Composition at Contest in Blagoveshchensk, Russia, and then continued with the First prize at the Quadrennial Republican Piano Contest in Ukraine in 1982, the All-Union Piano Contest in Vilnius, Lithuania in 1987, and the Second Prize at the Concertino-Prague International Piano Competition in Czechoslovakia in 1985.

       After the first public appearance at the age of 6, Anna has performed across Russia, including the historical Rachmaninoff and Gnessin Halls in Moscow, and the Conservatory and Philharmonic Halls in Kiev. Other important events included solo appearances at Musik Halle in Hamburg, Dom Umeltza in Prague, Jack Singer and the University Halls in Calgary, Wickenburg and Scottsdale Centers for the Arts in Arizona, the Leisure World, CA, Heber City Piano Festival, UT. Mrs. Gliadkovskaya has also performed piano and chamber recitals in Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Canada, and in the United States. She participates in numerous festivals including the South Czech Music Festival, the Weimar Festival in Germany and the Rachmaninoff Festival in Russia. She has worked with such well-known conductors as Sergei Skripka, Peter Vronsky,  Vladimir  Yanovitsky and Joseph Kaufman.

       Anna earned her Master and Doctoral degrees from Gnessin Russian Music Academy. She has been featured on numerous TV and radio broadcasts such as Russian and Ukrainian State TV and Radio, Czechoslovakian State TV and Radio, Radio/TV stations in Calgary, Canada. She has recorded a CD for Alexei Records.

      Anna has written music for piano and voice. Some of her compositions were published by a major state publishing company in the former Soviet Union. She also performs piano ensemble recitals with her husband, Kirill Gliadkovsky and sometimes with their two daughters, Anastassia and Sophia. Their piano team was featured in numerous concert series across the United States. Anna Gliadkovskaya is a researcher, as well. Her work on French Baroque composer Rameau was published by the Russian Music Academy in Moscow in 1997. Previously a faculty member at the Southern Utah University, she is currently teaching piano at Saddleback and Irvine Valley Colleges in Orange County, CA.
