TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By signing this application, I fully accept the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Acceptance of Terms

I have read and agree to the Orfeo Music Festival (OMF) Terms and Conditions, deadlines, and policies. I accept full financial responsibility for any damages to property caused by me or any medical expenses incurred during my participation in OMF.

2. Participation

I confirm my desire to participate in OMF, acknowledging that acceptance is at the discretion of the OMF administration. I understand that the information provided in my application is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge, and the audition recording submitted is my own unedited performance.

3. Commitment

I agree to stay for the full duration of the festival and to adhere to all regulations. OMF reserves the right to expel any participant for violations of festival regulations, city ordinances, or state laws, without refunding any fees paid.

4. Regulations

Participants must comply with the following regulations:

  • No underage alcohol consumption.

  • No possession or use of firearms or illegal drugs.

  • Adherence to standards of honesty and integrity; plagiarism, dishonesty, and cheating will result in dismissal from the festival.

5. Duties and Assignments

I agree to participate in the OMF office and stage assistance program and will fulfill my assigned duties as outlined in my individual schedule upon arrival. I will also attend any extra rehearsals assigned by faculty. Scholarship recipients may be assigned additional duties, and failure to perform these duties may result in the revocation of the scholarship.

6. Administrative Policies

Administrative resources will be focused on festival events and will not process emails from non-participants during the festival.

Upon arrival, it is my responsibility to verify that all courses I signed up for are on my individual schedule and to notify the office in writing within the first three days of the festival.

The faculty and artist roster is subject to change without notice.

7. Housing and Concert Assignments

Housing assignments are final and may not be changed. If I am not satisfied with my accommodation, I am responsible for securing and funding alternative lodging. Concert assignments are also final once confirmed.

8. Liability Waiver

I release OMF and its agents from all claims related to any injury, illness, or loss occurring during my participation. OMF is not responsible for the security of instruments or personal belongings. I am advised to obtain my own insurance. I will be financially liable for any property damages incurred at OMF venues.

9. Media Release

By registering, I grant OMF permission to use any photographs or videos containing my likeness for promotional, educational, or research purposes.

10. Tuition and Fees

Tuition includes private lessons, master classes, performance classes, choir (if offered), piano accompaniment, practice room time, Certificate of Course Completion, attendance at festival concerts, use of facilities, and a festival t-shirt. If I register for room and board, shared accommodations and two meals on weekdays will be provided unless a single room supplement was paid to cover single room accommodation.

Guest fees cover attendance at festival concerts, participation in choir (if offered), use of facilities, attendance as an observer at coaching sessions and classes, a festival t-shirt, and shared accommodations if applicable.

11. Payment Terms

I understand that I am not registered until all fees are paid.

  • Credit Card Payment: The cardholder acknowledges that this is an authorized charge and its validity is not disputable. Charges will appear on the statement as OMF. Refund requests will be evaluated per OMF policies and applicable laws.

12. Payments and Cancellations

If accepted, I understand that tuition and all fees are due at the time of enrollment unless a special payment arrangement is made in writing. All payments must be completed according to posted deadlines, but no payments can be made later than three weeks prior to the festival start date.

If a participant has not completed payment for any aspect of the Festival, including but not limited to:
• Tuition or participation fees
• Housing accommodations
• Special events or services

Full payment must be submitted on the same day the participant is notified of the outstanding balance.

Failure to comply may result in:
• Loss of access to housing or instructional activities
• Withholding of participation in performances or classes
• Removal from the Festival without refund

By enrolling in the Festival, each participant acknowledges responsibility for timely payment of all fees and agrees to these terms. For any concerns, please contact the Festival Office immediately.

All fees paid are non-refundable, even if a student changes their mind after enrollment. Payments must be made in U.S. dollars via credit card, PayPal, money order, cashier’s check, bank transfer, or Western Union (notification via email required).

OMF is not responsible for any cancellations or charges incurred by airlines or travel agents.

By registering for OMF, I confirm my understanding and agreement to all the statements above. If accepted, I acknowledge that tuition and fees are due in full at registration.
