Mariinsky Opera Academy of Young Singers, Prize-winnerin in numerous competitions, including the First National Young Vocalists Competition The Future of Musical Theatre  ( Omsk, 2012), First International Young Opera Singers’ Competition in Memory of Maxim Mikhailov (Cheboksary, 2010), International Festival and Competition (Ruza, 2009) and Festos Moscow Student Art Festival (2004). Born in the Sverdlovsk region, Ms. Bayankina graduated with honors in 2009 from the Gnesins’ Academy of Music where she also continued her post-graduate studies (class of Professor Sheveleva). From 2007 Maria Bayankina was a leading soloist with the Petit Opera Creative Group (Board of the Open Stage project of the City of Moscow Department of Culture) and from 2010 - a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers.  Ms. Bayankina repertoire at the Mariinsky Opera includes Violetta (La traviata) and Tatiana (Eugene Onegin).
