Sandro De Blasio, cello
Sandro De Blasio began his musical studies with G. Selmi in Rome, his hometown, graduating with honors under the guidance of M. Perini at "A. Peri "of Reggio Emilia, with E. B. Bengtsson in Copenhagen and A. Baldovino of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, A. Navarra (Siena, Wien) and S. Palm (Rome, Siena). Mr. De Blasioin addition to solo performances is dedicated to chamber music and has played in chamber concerts in numerous prestigious concert seasons. He has also played the role of first cello in the A. Toscanini Orchestra of Parma, in the Orchestra Philharmonica Marchigiana and in the Orchestra Regionale of Lazio. Mr. Sandro De Blasio has previously taught cello at the Conservatories of Foggia, Fermo, L'Aquila and, at present, Santa Cecilia in Rome.
