If accepted, you will be asked to send your solo and chamber concert Repertoire Request. Pieces from your audition recording are NOT automatically included in your festival concert assignment.

All applicants must sign the following:

I confirm that I would like to participate in the Orfeo Music Festival [OMF], but that acceptance is at the discretion of the OMF. I release OMF and its agents and employees, from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action on account of any injury, illness, or loss which may occur during my participation in the festival.  I understand that the information in this application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and that the audition tape submitted with the application is my own unedited
performance.  I also understand that all participants are required to stay for the full duration of the festival and follow festival’s policy and rules. OMF reserves the right to expel any participant for violation of OMF policy, city ordinances or state law without refunding any fees paid. Light office duties are assigned to all who accept tuition discount or scholarship, failure to perform the assignment will revoke the benefit of scholarship/tuition discount.

If accepted, I understand that tuition and all fees are due in full at Registration unless a payment arrangement is agreed upon. Tuition refunds can be issued only upon written request within two weeks of payment or March 15 whichever comes first and the
processing fee of $100 will be deducted from the amount. Tuition funds may not be applied toward another year’s festival. Room assignment may not be changed, participants are responsible to find and pay for their accommodations if for some reason are not
satisfied with room assignment. Concert assignment may not be changed after it is confirmed in final repertoire email.

Orfeo Music Festival is not responsible for safeguard of the instruments or personal objects. Students are advised to take out their own insurance. Students are financially liable for property damages on the premises. Faculty and Artist roster is subject to change without notice.







Audition Video Tape:
A video recording (DVD or email link) must accompany this application. It should contain two contrasting works (or sections of works) not exceeding 15 minutes. Recent live recordings are preferred but not required. Label the recording with your name and
instrument. Include a program of your recording. Listen to your recording before you send it to us for quality of sound. A recording of poor quality makes it impossible to judge your performance fairly. We regret that the video recordings may not be returned to you. Only new applicants and competition applicants must submit video recording.







MINORS will only be accepted with the following signed parental consent:

If children under 14 are traveling with their Professor, parents should secure a legal permission letter.

All fees must be issued to Orfeo Music Festival in U.S. dollars and can be paid by PayPal*, money order or cashiers check.

Orfeo International Music Competition 2012

You will be informed of your status by May 1.

If you are a winner of the First Round you will have to submit your Second Round Program (two contrasting pieces (singers consult your Professor) from standard repertory approved by your Professor not exceeding 15 minutes) by May 10. The Second Round will be held during the Festival in Italy and open to the public.
